Program Schedule

Through collaborative partnerships with local and national universities, we are focused on building a brand that students can identify with as being an employer of choice. ​ For Wesco’s Early Career Programs, we accept applications from August through May. Summer Leadership Conference

The Wesco International Summer Leadership Conference is a 3-day immersive experience, focused around giving underclassmen (students between their sophomore and junior year) insight to our business, and an understanding of what it’s like to work for a global leader in industrial distribution ! During the conference, you’ll have the opportunity to network with our leaders and connect with our current and previous program associates. This is a virtual conference and is NOT paid. Summer Leadership Conference attendees also have early VIP access to interview for the following years summer internship positions.



Summer Internship
Program​

The Wesco International Summer Internship Program is a ten-week, project-based assignment, designed to provide you with real-world professional experience working for a Fortune® 200 company! During the program you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skillset and overall business acumen, gain product and industry knowledge, and engage with other summer interns and senior leaders of the organization. You will work directly under the supervision of one of our department managers. Summer interns also have early VIP access to interview for the following years summer internship positions.​



Graduates


Sales and Operations Development Program​

Launch your professional career. The Wesco International Sales and Operations Development Training program is a 12-month program designed to prepare you for a sales role with Wesco International. During the program you’ll have the opportunity to develop strong selling skills and overall business acumen, enhance your sales presence, gain product and industry knowledge, and engage with other program members and senior leaders. You will work directly under the supervision of one of our local managers and be paired with a peer mentor (previous program graduate). Successful completion of the program will result in placement in a sales position. ​


Information Technology and Digital Development Program​

Looking to launch your professional IT career at a company on the cutting edge of Digital? The Wesco International Information Technology Development Program is a 24-month rotational program designed to prepare you for a technology-based role once the program ends. Aside from gaining industry knowledge and engaging with our senior leaders, you’ll have the ability to make an immediate impact in the business. Within each rotation you will work directly under the supervision of one of our IT leaders and also be paired with a peer mentor. ​




Supply Chain Development Program ​

The Wesco International Supply Chain Development Program is a 24-month rotational program designed to prepare you for a supply chain operations role with Wesco International. During the program you’ll have the opportunity to develop strong business acumen, gain industry knowledge, and engage with our senior executives. Within each rotation, you will work directly under the supervision of one of our supply chain leaders and be paired with a peer mentor. Successful completion of the program will result in placement in supply chain operations position. ​



Finance Development Program​

The Wesco International Finance Development Program is a 24-month rotational program designed to prepare you for a finance role within Wesco International. During the program you’ll have the opportunity to develop strong business acumen, gain industry knowledge and engage with our senior executives. Within each rotation you will work directly under the supervision of one of our finance leaders and be paired with a peer mentor. Successful completion of the program will result in placement in finance position.
